Thanks... found it, replaced it... still doesn't work. All 'hazard lights' work. Is there a fuse we're not being told about ??

Fuse 14,Central Fuse box covers tail lights, indicators and brake lights,Fuse 45 Auxillary fusebox covers the hazard flasher. May I suggest that you delete your other entry in 'Advice' in order to simplify things.

Yes, Scorpio_man, the main beam does work. As for the switch, it 'feels' like it works. Yesterday the brake lights worked, today they do not. Fuse 14 and the relay were replaced since then. However, the tail lights DO work, as well as parking lights (front and rear). I don't know if there is any connection but, R25 for the rear window heater is very warm even though the car has not been running for quite awhile. Yes, the switch is off. R24 for the same heater is not warm. Both are very close to Fuse 14. ANY ideas Aslo, the cruise control has packed up...
