Oil being pumped in to cooling system
« on: Apr 26th, 2007, 5:03pm »

I have just recently replaced the head gasket on my 2.3 'P' Plate Scorpio. I had the head skimmed, vacuum tested, pressure tested, valves re-cut and had to buy the Ford head kit. I am a mechanic and have been for over 25yrs, but this one has stumped me. I have put it all back together and it runs superbly but i have found that oil is being pumped into the cooling system. Has anyone heard of this before or had this happen to them ? There is no engine oil cooler and it is engine oil that is being transferred into the cooling system.
