Try giving the MAF a clean. A dirty MAF has been known to affect overdrive

hi, i have cleaned the maf elements with brake and clutch degreaser today and dried it off with compressed air and it still looks like the tiny maf elements are dirty?. how can they be cleaned back to shiney like the maf is when new any ideas..thanks again...

It's best to use carburettor cleaner ...you don't need compressed air either, the carb cleaner will evaporate after it's cleaned the tiny wires

hi, i went through the gearbox gears from p to 1, three times and when i drove the car after it went into overdrive but when i used the car later it returned to not going into overdrive.... is it a gearbox problem?.. thanks.

possibly, or a wiring loom problem, can you get it OBD scanned? Failing that it might be worth changing the gearbox oil and filter
