Get the car up to operating temperature by going for a drive.
 
Park car on level ground.  
 
With engine still running, run the selector from P to 1 and back, allowing each gear to engage. Do this 3 times.
 
Check the level on the dipstick on the drivers side rear of the engine bay, again still with the engine running  Smiley
