thanks for all your advice, it seems my ecu is infected with a bad dose of pats. Dont suppose anybody has a spare wiring harness with the pats, ignition sender ring, ecu, ignition barrel and the chipped keys knocking around their shed by any chance   cheers pete.

nice one boys. the ecu on e-bay dose,nt have the same amount of pins..... thanks anyway, but no, i,m not that desperate. Have e-mailed an ecu clinic to see if they can de-code my ecu and what sort of money they are talkin. If its a no go will be very interested in purchasing the necessary bits off you matt. cheers pete.
