no power steering

I have no mechanical clue! My power steering stopped working when starting this morning, no A/C and battery light showing on dashboard, whats going on?

or the belt tensioner/pulley, should be fairly easy to check.. dont do it with the engine running

Thanxs, Is it the belt that i hsve to adjust from underneath? I did not realise the belt would affect alternator/power steering and air con?

You cant adjust it, the tensioner does that, either the tensioner spring has gone, the pulley bearing is done or the belt has broken or slipped off

Thanx for the advice. Was the belt, got one from car spars for £18 inc Vat, fitted it this morning, first time ive ever done something under the bonnet!!!

mine went at a ton + plus aproaching a roundabout, very scary, i make a point of checking it now on a weekly basis.
