Ok, so I push the button either way, and nothing happens.. there are motor type noises, but nothing moves. Is this likely to be a stuck sunroof? If so, is it relatively easy to remove for lubricating etc? Nothing is easy without a Haynes!

Ian, This site exists largely because there was no Haynes manual produced for this model. Have a read of the first two articles on THIS page and all you need is there. The most likely cause is a stripped drive cog in the motor which is explained in the articles. If you need a replacement put up a request in 'Parts wanted' and hopefully someone will have one available.
