7000 Radio-Blank Display after battery replaced

Finally got fed-up replacing Halfords batteries in my Cossie (even if they were under guarantee) - Have now fitted an Unipart battery, which seems OK- however, when I turned the Radio on, I just get an illuminated "Blank" display (it doesn't show 'CODE' or anything else -zilch!) - Removal and replacement of the Security Panel makes no difference. Does anyone have any suggestions? Cheers KeithCEng

hi there how long was it from the last use of the radio? generally it's dampness getting to the radio. warn it up gently with a hairdryer. normally works. hth

When I started the Cossie this morning (after replacing the Battery yesterday), the 7000 Radio display started working again! I inputted the code and it is now AOK again - obviously an overnight rest helped it to recover! Many thanks to all who replied KeithCEng
