Kickdown cable?

My autobox is going in kickdown way too early, is there a cable I can adjust?
It's a 12v Cologne. Grin

there's a wee bit about the 12v 'box here.
 
doesn't say anything about adjusting it, but it might help you. Undecided

I'm not a mechanic but........isn't the kickdown controlled electronically via a switch?
