Leakage of water around the thermostat

Hello, I am new here, plese don't get angry because my English is very poor  . I come from slovenia and
I have a problem on my Scorpio year 95 2.0i 85kw!
Over the years on house of thermostat took a crack
and now I lose 1l water on 50 km  .
Has anyone had similar problems and how did you solve the problem? 
Plese help me the new part cost about 500€ and I have no intention  to pay so much or if you know where I can possibly get used part.

Is it made of aluminium,is it a 16 valve engine ? We have them in scrapyards here,or another person on here may have one at home.How would you get it transported ?

My motor is 8 valve engine, I think it is not from aluminium, but I will try to get you some picture tomorrow maybe you understand me wrong.
