Hi All. Had to disconnect the negative pole of battery this morning and now no tickover It starts on the button but will not idle. I have re-checked all the little connectors which are all tight and secure. Any suggestions will be VERY welcome

Sorry. I was intending to replace the VSS and disconnected the negative. Everything was perfect before then. Couldn't do the VSS, so reconnected everything onto the negative terminal. Fires fine - just no idle.

Panic over Guys. Changed the VSS, gave it a good run and lo and behold - it ticked over, a bit lumpy though, so cleaned the idle control - perfect! Phew!!! Thanks to all who replied and tried to help. Cheers
