9000 VNR Help Needed Please

Hi guys I have just got hold of a VNR 9000 I love this unit, but it appears to not working correctly. It is not tracking my position or finding my current position? I have the ariel in place could it be a software problem a faulty disk maybe. Any ideas would be great Many Thanks

Many Thanks for that highlander. I have used the menu many thanks. I have seven satellites and it passed that test it did however come up with a problem on the CD. Any idea were I can get another copy from? Thank you so much
