some parts of that is very very DIM. Can't see in dark which numbers are in display. Are the backlight repairable?

They are standard 1.2W 12V BAX 8.5d twist-on you'll find in all car parts stores. The green colour comes from a film behind the LCD. 3pcs. needed as stated in the above guide.
