front brakes clunk

after about 30 mins of braking a loud clunk develops in front offside brake...ive had the rubber bushes of the caliper changed but garage stumped difficult as needs lots of braking to induce then it stays until cooled down...maybe its pads? any help advice apprciated as the noise is quite loud and annoying..can only hear when driving slow of course in traffic etc john

Sounds like pads are moving in caliper, some pattern part pads will do this, not really a cure apart from change them for Mintex, EBC, or Ford ones. HTH Cheers Dave
