What engine is it?
Clutches can be fitted by your self if you have the tools and space to take the gear box off

The sticking pedal is most likely down to the throttle butterfly flap/s or their spindles sticking/jamming 
Remove the air pipe from the throttle & give the flap/s & throttle barrel/s a good wipe with a cloth
