water leak

The pipe that comes from the matrix has a plastic coupler in it a foot or so from the pump, do you mean there? They get really brittle with age. You can use a bit of 15mm copper with a couple of olives soldered on but it’s a little undersize so you’ll need to use jubilee clips. Alternatively solder a couple of Yorkshire fittings on, that will be a little oversize and a bit of a struggle to get the hose on but less likely to distort when you tighten the clips.

I don’t know the size but it looks a similar size to the larger of the coolant sensors so quite likely 3/8 BSP possibly tapered. I think it’s galvanised steel on mine.
