Fuel Pump Connection

Hi guys,
is it possible to check a fuel pump connection thru some doors or hole without removing the fuel tank ? I need to check, if the wire is not oxidated. The pump sometimes does not work. The auxiliary fuse box is after renovation. Maybe I should check the relay R17 as well - should I bridge the pins 1 & 3 or some different?
