Engine stops in (R) and (D) -96, 2.0doch16v aut.

NEED HELP !!! Suddenly my Scorpio starts to misfire when gearshifter are engaging into Drive(D) or Reverse(R) . It seems that some wiring have poor conection. The misfiring only happen when I pull the gear lever into (D) and (R).
Sometimes(more and more) the engine stop running when gear lever are engaging (R) and (D) !
Engine always starts in (P) and (N).
I'm suspecting the transmission switch to port 64 at the PCM (EEC) have poor conection.

First thing is to change the PRNDL switch on the gearbox, failing that it's in the wiring loom

I'm not sure how to fix this or change the PRNDL switch ?
Do you have any tips or guidelines Dave ?
