burnt wiring for injectors 2.9V6

put the engine back in the Limo yesterday and noticed some of the wires for the injectors were burnt out or should I say bare - not sure if there had been a short at some time or just that the wiring gets hot due to the location and the outer sleeving got brittle and broke off - any thoughts?

Looks like a typical Scorpio disintegrating insulation syndrome Rob,get a roll of good insulating tape and bind em up,it never failed me
