Maybe as a classic with restricted miles and an agreed value.   I reckon if you just went to get insurance off the high street for a Cosworth, you'd be blown out of the water!   My nephew has a nice old Omega 2.5 estate, and he's 23.   But he started when he was 19 with his Mum as Guarantor and main policy holder.   He was still able to build up a no-claims for himself even as his Mum the main policy holder, can't remember which broker this was with.

Should do mate

got my first cossie at 19, £1100 to insure tpft on a 5k a year milage, that was 7 years ago so id say around £2k to £2.5K as the insurance firms dont class them as cosworth's just 24v's

i pay £500 fully comp now with listed mods  Grin Tongue

Im on a multi car though i get the scorp and the 500 for a grand both with mods so try a multi car quote with the other scorpio

My son has just passed his test, he is 20, nobody will touch him on my scorpio, best he can do is on a micra and they want £4800, so he has no chance, feel sorry for him
