insurance yet again!

I was paying around £213 FOR MY 2-9 SCORPIO ESTATE WITH- MORE THAN!! (car gone now!) Now they want to charge £328-19!! to insure my Focus 1,6!!
Do they guess the figures?? All set for a loud call to them tomorow, the only thing that worries me is that the guy said when i bought Focus, that it would be around the same price as i was paying for SCORPIO! £213-65. I arranged this by phone to get the Focus on road quickly, (i have since been quoted £178 by confused. com) my concern is that really that agrrement was by word of mouth, and i am a bit concerned that i will lose out as i am not honouring the contract in which they transferred /swapped insurance for me!! Any advice please guys? cheers Bob :

You need to go through, Quidco, I think it costs £5 a year to be with. I had a renewal quote of £198, went through Quidco, £158 + I had £20 pounds cash back, same insurance company and same terms etc.
