spotted in The Hague, my hometown. Parked my own Red Aubergine Scorpio Cosworth behind it, for reference!
 
She has a valid MOT until Now. 26, 2010. Second owner; name unknown.

That's the 2nd one with Mondeo wheels you've seen then, the ex Royal one was the same

Chris: I do not know about Mondeo's wheels - but these alloy 12-spokes were, at the time, the top 16"-wheels one could buy as a factory-option for the Scorpio Cosworth IIRC... all my four entries of "seen" Scorpio Cosworths have them.

The Mondeo ones are very similar but have a lip around the rim, the Scorpio 16 spokes such as the ones on your current one dont have this
