........I was a bit apprehensive before I got there, as it was my first meet, but everyone was real nice & easy to get on with, which made for a good day out

A good meet and great fun. The new 'slimline' Taliban lived up to his reputation as CB2 aided by Dave N !. If anyone has a list of car washes in the area please pass it to CB2 or if you like pigeon pie give him a shout and he'll direct you to a great location.  . Nice to see JC and his family in Carolines new car.

Excellent meet. After paying the obligatory homage to the mighty Simmo, the Scorps began to roll in. 9 lovely cars but unfortunately it looked as if Taliban had teed off about a hundred pigeons at some time and they had practised getting their eye in! Good to see Scorpio Mike and Caroline again and JC and his lovely family. ( must have a good natter next time John). I'm sure I saw Simmo blush when he was asked for his autograph! Tompion spent some time under Bruce's lid and emerged like a chimney-sweep. Well his hands anyway. Pegasus' lap-top was whizzing from car to car-great fun. Taliban was his new slim-line self and Daven was still giving Simmo some stick. (could be a wrong move Dave, you know how some people can get if the new found power goes to their head) All in all it was great fun. Thanks all.
