Well what a fantastic sight all those Scorpios, Granadas Pumas, Mondeos, Fiats, Volvo's jaguars, Mercs etc etc, on our plot No. 16, but joking apart it was a fantastic meet with the People from the Unleashed and the Scorpio site meeting up. A BIG thank you to Lee and Trev from unleashed for organising the tickets etc for us.
I meet some new faces and was able to put names to those who I had not met before.
The whole day was fine sunny and warm and the forum benefited cash wise from a small profit we made on the group booking and some serious donations to the forum from several members amounting to £45.
I won't name them to save any embarrassment, but overall the forum has gained £70 which I will pay over to Steve in the USA.
I hope some one took some pictures and can post a couple.
Thanks to all who attended, paid for tickets, and made donations, it really was a super day.

A big thank you to everyone for your contributions towards the running of the site. Things were getting a bit tight last month as I guess everyone is suffering with the economy - it's equally as bad over here as companies go out of business every day but we soldier on in 'survival mode' until things recover.
Glad you had fun at Harewood - I miss the meetings with the old Scorpio and I guess there are fewer each year until they get their 'cult' status. I mean who would have thought that a 70's MkIII Cortina would ever be a cult car

If you click top left where it says Tenfut > Harewood 21st June 2009 it will open up a new page, then click on the thumbnails to get the pics.

It was nice to meet so many for the first time. I am still unsure about being given a conducted tour of the Gozz hearse, especially on our first meeting when he realised that I lived on his patch.
