Evening all. Thought i'd get in early this time ( for a change  ). Septembers "Becketts farm" meet will be on Tuesday 8th , from 7 pm till as late as you want  . Last months meet was packed by 7.15 so it's probably advisable to get there as early as you can if you want a descent parking spot  ...
Directions...Leave the M42 at J3 & follow the A435 for approx 1 mile. Becketts farm & craft centre is on the left just before the island.
Hope to see some of you there...craig

What a night  . Absolutley packed by 7. Loads of cars on show inc classics, modern & loads of exotica The entertainment was provided by a couple of 700+ bhp skylines with acceleration comparable to lightning ( seriously). Hopefully put up some pictures later...Just need to figure out how to do it without using a hosting site .....Craig

You cannot put the pictures up WITHOUT them being hosted somewhere. Unless you are prepared to open your computer to the internet and let it be the server! Although unless you know what you are doing I would NOT advise that route .
Hosting on Photobucket or tiny pic and similar is best thing to do. You could try your own web space allocated by your ISP.

Gozz... . To sort of coin a fraze " im the only scorp in the village " . It is a genral meet for all manner of classics, be them old or modern . Once upon a time we used to have about 8 scorpios turn up , heck we even had our own personal parking spaces, but now folks are either too busy or have sold up & moved onto other cars  . Dont mind too much though...It means i get more attention . If i had £1 for every time someone asked " what is it " i would probably have £20 by now . Keep a look out for further mids meet posts as i think they may be going back to every 2nd sunday of the month...11am - 3pm

Yep certainly does Matt. I think it's a Lexus derived hybrid . Certainly goes well . Tell you what though. Those Skylines are QUICK. One of the owners was saying he could do 0-100 in 9.5 secs . Yeah right i thought...Untill he came off the island a shocked everyone. It was lightning fast . If he's there next month i will try & get a photo of his engine bay ( if i can get close enough that is ). Looks like a plumber & a sparky have emptied their vans out into it. Pipes & wires everywhere...& 2 of the biggest nitrous bottles i've ever seen in the boot
