Power steering ram

Hi all,
I have a member asking for a Power Steering Ram, do these cars have them? 
I can't find any mention of one anywhere.
I know from my knowledge of trucks what they are to a certain extent. A sort of piston/ram type of arangement.
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
