My poor old Ultima 2l estate has to go complete to the crusher very soon. Sadly, I'm not into serious breaking but if there's anything simple... or you can come and drive it away. (Blowing head gasket but good for a few miles. Ron.

I do have a rather tired but functioning remote. if dart don't want it it's yours. It does have to go as we're short of space. It's that old silly situation of keeping an 18' square garage full of junk and the cars on the drive and there's been a hate-hate relationship between the Scorp and the wife since I bought it. The only other contender in the search for space is her second car, and old Merc which seems to want to live for ever. (It does dress the drive rather well but you can't get 3 metre lengths of timber and half a ton of bricks in it!) Ron.

Matt, I drove it 70 miles with no apparent ill effects apart from losing a load of water. It all depends on driving conditions. whwre in Surrey are you. I might be able to get it to Hungerford as a drop off point. Andy, There is a load cover but it's a bit tatty and it's on a half promise as is the remote but I'll let you know in a day or so. How are you getting on with your auto problem?
