Hi again all, Thank you all so far for your enquiries on my "various parts "add in this section and as a result of the interest shown and after consultation with Snoopy I wish to put the following concept to you all for which I will require 1 or 2 willing assistants. If we can establish a central receiving point in the uk with someone who can afford the time to manage the parts and orginise there sale etc, I plan to Donate the unusable parts I will have from various UK scorps to the Forum/web-site to be sold with all sale proceeds going to the running of the forum. further some parts may if we can get this up and running, be auctioned at the various meetings with sale proceeds being donated to a charity of the Forums collective choice. Well thats it for now and I look forward to hearing from anyone who feels that they can assist. If you wish you can PM me with your contact numbers and I will call you to discuss the idea/s further. Thanks and kind regards Andy( Surfcoast4)

Could be done that way. You can pre approve bidders so that some of the more unscrupulous ebay sellers can't just buy cheap parts meant for members on here and then sell them at shall we say... over inflated prices!! Baz

I am in North Bucks and have a friend who is a local farmer, could always get some barn space from him. North Bucks is not a bad centralised located with access to the M1 only 10 minutes. I am an ex-International logistics specialist so arranging transportation should be quite easy.

Mods could set up a 'Trade Counter' on this site as a secure point of sale. A small percentage of each sale could be taken by the site to help keep funding it's operation. Obviously, there would need to be someone who manages the finances of such an operation as all I have proposed above is the physical logistics. Any billing for shipping and payment of all shipping charges would need to be kept under careful scrutiny as in any logistics based operation, it's the shipping charges that are often the hardest to manage.

Hi Guys, Sorry I havent been back to you all lately, a bit flat out over here. Thanks everyone for your input and comments so far and I would suggest that DJ's option seems the most workable so far as you would have a central place to deal from and I would have just 1 place to deliver the parts to. I will simply load a bundle of parts into a crate or on to a pallet and send it across with one of my trucks when there heading to the UK and the rest will be up to you guys to manage and distribute the sold items as required. keep me posted on what you decide and who will be the responsible recipiants and we'll take it from there. Great work guys. Cheers Andy.
