Price likely  its ok taking a chance for £50 or so but second hand boxes are a bit dodgy unless you know or trust the person you are getting them from, you've no guarantee and only the sellers word (or the previous sellers word) that its ok
I reckon £100 is fair for a good one though, i've bought and sold them for that

Hi all,
Just had a recon box and a torque converter fitted to my Cossie with a 12 month/12000 mile warranty for £600 all in at Powercraft down here in Devon.
Didn't think that was a bad price for some peace of mind.
