Regrettably I will now not be able to attend this meeting on Sunday. I am disappointed as of all the things I run this is the one thing that try and get to every month without fail. I know that the Essex gang are coming over plus EricR is coming from here with a number of others..
I wouldn’t normally have to justify things but I thought i would. I have some family issues at the moment and I need to be elsewhere Sunday as a matter of priority.
I will be at the next meet in March.

Just to say here in Sussex its still snowing like crazy and no way was it worth risking the Scorpio however much I was looking forward to meeting some of you guys. Apologies and look forward to the next opportunity in more appropriate conditions.

The food was good and the company even better.
A small meet by it's own standards, 3 Scorps  3 Mk3's and a Mk2.
I forgot the camera (der  ) and it was bitter cold.

Its a sunny 92 Degrees - now in Port Harcourt - and I have not spotted a single scorpio.

And thanks again to Waders for the diagnostics - you were right that little filter at the back of the engine filter housing was soaked. It took 2 changes of white spirit to get it clean (ish). Dried and reinserted, will redo the MAF tomorrow.
