Cant find a garage to run a scan

Hi all, you may have seen my recent posts which i said i wanted to have a diagnostic run on my car, the only problem is i cant find anywhere that will/can do them, all im being told is the car is too old and there equipment wont plug in. Does anyone know of anywhere in essex, pref the thurrock area that can do them

Jim, the 12valve Scorp won't do OBD II scans, the reason for the diagnostic unit me and Harry are building. Loom on the other thread for info, it may help you  .
Sorry mate, I don't know anything about the 12v engine, mine was a 2.3 DOHC.
Hopefully someone else can help you more

Open up the yellow pages and look for a mobile auto electrician.
The car may not be OBD2 but they usually have s device to connect to the older OBD standard of the Scorp and will get the codes you need and and faults.
