Airbag Light?

Hi all
On our way back home in our 24v yesterday the airbag light came on for about 2 mins then off and back on again  its off today but because they are mot faliure (i think) abit worried just wondering whats happening with it. Its a september 98 model so it has airbagsi in front seats too so im not sure what ones are poss playing up. Any advice/thoughts would be great.

normally one of 2 places, the steering wheel 'clock spring' / air bag connection or a try seatbelt pre tensioner plug
