what is the point of giving points and a paltry fine when caught using a mobile phone at the wheel as no body gives a stuff about the new law. the only way to stop something is to give a deterrent, be it for theft, assault , murder or using a moblie,. i went to do a woman,s lawn today, a distance of around 7 mls from home. in that short distance i seen 4 young girls on phones, two middle aged men (should know better), believe it or not one stagecoach bus driver negotiating a roundabout, and on a narrow country road two 32 ton plus timber wagons hurtling towards me , their drivers unaware that they gave me brown trousers.as all mobiles have answer machines incorporated i just dont see the point of using them whilst driving.this action really annoys me especially when my space and safety is compromised.(can i climb down now?)

I had a good mind to tell of a lady i saw driving one of those hilux surf things with one hand on her phone, well in fact she was trying to park it over the road from me.. with one hand.. lol impossible. I agree completley, why take the risk? people have no sense. you cant drive car with one hand, and you cant concentrate on driving if you have someone in your ear shouting.. lol normally the other half hahah
