This ones been bothering me for ages!! When I was young I got a pair of toy cars on Christmas that you drove into each other and all the bumpers/doors/wings etc fell off then you rebuilt them. It wasnt "Smash-up-Derby" but similar, I'm sure one car was red and one was blue Despite many hours of Googling I cant find the name of it! Anyone remember? was probably around the mid 1970's to the very early 80's

I remember one from the late 80's called "Crash Test Dummies" or something similar, had doors and panels that fell off when you crashed them. Not as satisfying as crashing a car made from Lego Technics but much easier to put back together afterwards They were coloured grey as I remember, had yellow stickers and a crash dummy sitting inside. I remember one Christmas wanting a set of those so badly, never did get them. My best mate Adam got a set, I was sick with envy I think Dad just thought I was reckless enough already Bruce.

Hey, there's a lack of 'equality' there! What if you're the younger brother and you always get the blasted Beetle? I hope there's a bias towards the Beetle when they hit each other?

| Are you implying that to be a taxi driver you must be proficient at Stock Car Smash-up?
