Fuse 13 - Ignition Lock - 20 Amp.

Anyone got any ideas what this fuse protects ?
Mine blew the other week and I lost power to dash and could not start the car.
Now today, driving along quite happy and lost everything.
Checked the fusebox and fuse 13 had blown again.

I'm not 100% certain but I think that fuse powers the relay coils worked through the ignition switch, would take out quite a few circuits if it blows. I had gremlins in my car when I bought it 
Are you getting moisture in anywhere?

My fuseboxes are drier than the sahara.
No moisture at all anywhere.
Looking at the Ford TIS CD ROM, it looks like its the 1st fuse in line from the ignition switch.

Check all the fuses against what the manual says they should be - it's possible some have been replaced with incorrectly rated fuses.

had same problem put a new battery and touch wood all seems to be solved not much but hope it helps
