rear bumper removal

Hi All, Thanks to a Lady,vietnamese,car driver,who managed to run into my back end (The Car's, that is) On the A1 (M) near Stevenage On Tuesday night, I now need a bumper.I have got one on another Scorp' that I use for spares. Can anyone advise me how to go about removing it?Many thanks Jonno

Undo 4 bolts under car - they may be rusted so soak them with WD40 first. Towards the front of the bumper by the wheel arches there is a large plastic screw on both sides you have to undo - pull the sides away from the bodywork and pull complete bumber backwards! It sits on two rails (that the bolts go into). HTH Dave

Bolts were rusted to hell on mine, broke a torx bit on the first one Ahhh...should be plain sailing form there, just the 4 bolts underneath, the number plate loom and the fixings either side. Regards, Bruce.

Also, put some copper slip on the treads when putting the bolts back in. Save you hassle in the future if you need to remove it again

The torx bolts themselves are ok but I need a pro set of bits for those rusted occasions...
