DIESEL 2.5 VM CYLINDER HEAD 4 of

Hello Every One I am in need of a cylinder Head for my 2.5VM diesel the one which as four heads, because one of the studs holding the tappets as snapped off there was a man selling one on e-bay about a week ago at that time I did not need one, as any one out there seen that advert and can put me in touch with him I have every thing crossed in the hope that some-one can help Kind Regards Colin

have you tried taking your head to an engineers they may be able to drill the old stud out and replace it.

Snapped studs aren't the end of the world, this sort of thing is a pain on older British cars. A well equipped workshop shouldn't find it a problem at all. Mate of mine had a snapped stud on an exhaust manifold, he went into overkill mode and had the broken stud electro discharge machined...cost him about £70 but no damage at all to the cast iron head .

Definitely try to avoid disturbing the heads if possible; it's not advisable to remove one on it's own, and each has it's own gasket set to replace! Darren
