drain on computer battery

pegasus has tried to do numerous scans on my car but it seems to drain his battery in a matter of minutes. any ideas?

I'm not sure I get you mate. Draining the battery in the laptop? Maybe try a power adaptor instead? Battery in my laptop died ages ago, I keep an adaptor in the car *just in case*

the problem is not with the laptop, it works fine on his car and others he has tried it on. it just seems that my car sucks the life out of it. not really a problem it just seems strange.

Does it have trouble connecting with your car It could be trying to connect constantly and not managing it, maybe that is doing it

Strange If it's like the Elmscan, the interface module only draws low current from the USB, it can't draw much from there anyway.
