Inlet Manifold R reg 2.3 Scorpio

The brass water pipe that leaves the inlet manifold just behind the thermostat housing has come out of the housing - I guess it was bonded in there somehow. We have tried to glue it in before with Araldite but it came out again after about 3 weeks.
The replacement part is £233 inc VAT. (It took Ford Parts about 30 mins and 2 looks at the car to identify the part - there are 3 numbers on the Estimate sheet they printed A18C05 F1024327 P38200).
