I suspect I might be needing a water pump for a late 94 2.0 ghia frog eye. Anyone got one if I need it, or would I be better off buying a new one? What sort of cost is involved? I stress I do need to confirm it is the pump yet but there is definately a leak in that area. Hoping it may be a hose...

Ive just sorted a leak on mine today. Thought it might be a split hose but turned out to be scale/corrosion on the water pump where the hose is attached, I think it built up under the hose and forced the silly spring clip thing open so it started leaking. All cleaned up now and jubilee clip installed

Yep, did it on the car, mines the 24v but could be a similar problem with yours. I scraped off what i could witha knife then wire brushed the rest till it was shiny Must have taken 2 or 3mm of stuff off it.
