Hi Have a 24V cosi after spending money on having it re gassed a few months later the aircon unit seized, is it better to buy another secondhand unit, or bankrupt myself with a new replacement can any body advise me.

Your choice  pot luck with a second hand one but how much will a new one set you back??
The 12v uses the same one, in fact i think they are all the same but the brackets are the only difference, will have to confirm that though.

I fitted a branny in mine just over a year ago (warranty out  ...) the thing started whining, however it is still working ice cold and has for a while now so maybe it will be ok. point is, this WAS a new one.
Your choice I'm afraid bud....
