Self dimming rear view mirror

Take it off before it drips on to the centre consul. The 'goo' will destroy anything it touches.

My Mirror has got the goo at the bottom of the mirror and has been like it for about 4 years but no drips.
Can still see out of it ok, so not replaced it.
