Bit Of loom

Heya all
I need the little bits of loom that supply the front fog lights on the scorpio. Dont need reams of it, just 6 inches or so
Up grading the fiesta to front fogs and the chap i got the fogs off cut the loom at the base of the plug

So by the sound of it no wires left to even solder onto?
Why do they do that? Is it really too much trouble to just unplug it? LOL....

He's cut them as close to the plastic as his cutters would allow.
I could understand if he was weighing the loom in separate but he wasnt
