R reg 2.3 GhiaX Auto Saloon Hampshire

Well, after six years together, it is finally time for the big fella and me to part ways!
My Scorpio is a 1998 R 2.3 Ghia X Saloon in light metallic blue with black leather interior and it has been one of the best cars I have owned, requiring only a new battery and starter motor above and beyond normal wear and tear parts since I have owned it.
I bought it with 82,000 miles on the clock and it has now racked up 140,000 but you would never know as the interior is immaculate and it drives like a dream. I have full service history documentation and over my ownership it was always serviced at a Ford main dealer.
The only bad points to note are that the electric sunroof doesn't work (but the aircon is ice cold, as it was re-gassed 18 months ago) and there is some surface rust starting to appear round the rear wheelarches. Other than that, all switches, knobs, lamps, bells and whistles operate as they should, the engine is sweet and uses no oil, and the autobox changes nice and sharply just like it is supposed to. It has all the usual Ghia X refinements, including aircon, electric windows and mirrors, heated front and rear screens, 5000RDS stereo plus boot-mounted 6 CD autochanger.

It just goes to show the value of these cars, that appears to be a near perfect one you have there and no interest at all

UPDATE.
As no-one appears to want this fine beast and I can't afford to run two cars, the Mondeo i bought to replace it is now up for sale and I'm going back to the Scorpio.
However, I'm still open to sensible offers....
