2.3 LPG Saloon 1999 'S' reg

Hi all
Alas I will be selling my lovely Scorpio soon, this is the 2.3 MANUAL transmission with a Prinz sequencial gas conversion, all the history can be obtained from my posts on this site.
It has had £6000 spent on it in the last two and half years and is in a fair condition, it has a whining compressor though (compressor was new just over a year ago....  but still works ok)
A new facelift front bumper, headlight and foglight unit was fitted last year too along with 2 grands worth of paintwork. It looks gorgeous when polished up.
If anyone is interested, they can contact me via PM or EMail and I will explain more.... I will also post some pics soon.

A. I am growing old and feeble so the necessary ocasional twiddling with them is getting ever harder.
B. I have saved a bit of cash and fancy something a little newer. (if I could have bought a Newer Scorp I might have done but they are all getting on a bit now and mine is about the newest one available)  
C. I have found one which may equal the scorp, it's newer and has a little bit higher tech spec but I arn't telling you what it is yet.  Have a go on the guess the replacement in my other post.  Just a bit of fun....
D. Finally, I know you would like to own it so I am willing to sacrifice my very proud ownership just for you....

Hy Pyth...
Well the answer to that is the standard one that applies today, having spent so much on it I need to get as much back
a. to recoupe some and
b. to make it worthwile the hasstle of actually selling it.
There is still loads of life in the car yet.
It has tax to end of next month, and MOT till next March (I believe) if anyone is interested and wants to make an offer I will consider it.
I will advertise it locally too.
If it doesn't generate any interest I will take the LPG system for my wife's focus and sell the car for scrap which I don't want to do cos it IS a very nice car.
I already have loads of spares left over from stripping the 95 2litre that I had so I can't get bogged down with any more..... 
Sadly I think it is maybe getting near the end of the line for the Scorp as indicated in one way by the slowing down of useage on this forum etc, had I been a fitter man I would have kept it going as long as I could, using the increase of available parts, as I have preached in the past, but as it is, it would become too much of a burden.

This is still here chaps.... it is a good car and you just need to talk to me, save me gettin the spanners out again....

This car is now on at £1000, DRIVE AWAY if you want it... It will be declared Sorn from 31st Aug and when I get back from my hols I will be removing the gas and disposing of the car. This is the only place I have advertised it....
It's a goodun....

Pete, why don't you put it on Auto Trader or Ebay ?
With the LPG conversion & the condition of the car, you should get more than a grand
I recently sold my wifes old 1995 MK1 Mondeo with 137K on the clock on Auto Trader for £600 (asking price was £695 ono) & it was sold within 24 hours of the advert going online .....& that thing didn't hold a candle to a Scorpio, let alone yours

how much for the rear nearside light cluster and bulb holders that you may have sitting around in your garage somewhere?
