How old are Scorpio drivers???

Is it just me or are all Scorpio drivers 60+?
Everytime I see one I look at the driver, wondering whether to wave or not, and they all seem to be old couples that don't even notice that another Scorpio is driving towards them. I'm only 26, maybe I'm in minority.
My kids always shout out when they see another Scorpio.
I've also NEVER seen another 24v. I think I need to make it to one of these meets.

well im certainly no where near 60. I wear a baseball cap, love my car in the wet (minus the TC) and have loud club anthems on the cd!!! Mine is a 24v and i too have never seen another

Im not 60 either (allthough probably older than you!), dont wear a baseball cap, have heavy rock on the stereo and funnily enough, saw another 24v in the local co-op car park yesterday. I would have parked next to it but someone had parked a 4x4 bread tin next to it
I had a 5 litre Plymouth fury when i was 18, People always wave to you then, unforunately they were always in a white car with a big orange stripe down the side and always introduced themselves as 'is this car YOURS sir'

I’m 20 and I love my Scorpio to bits. I’ve owned my scorp for 6 months now and I’ve certainly got the Scorpio fever  . funny thing is, when you drive a scorp you cant help but feel sorry for all the people driving around in the common biscuit tins. a pal of mine has recently purchased a fiat punto which he paid £6000 for!!! it boasts an in-dash CD player, front driving lights oh and the all important wash/wipe with intermittent control on the rear hatch!!! Sheer Luxury
anyways, any advance on 20?

Maybe stereo type driver over 50. Kept young by Handicapped No 1 and only Son, & Wife. Love the 24 valve car despite its foibles.

i know what your all sayin here in preston they all seem to be 80 plus exept me im 30 an my wife is 24 an i have only seen one other 24v and it was a estate an the driver was about 90 an the car was a minter

I reached the ripe old age of 35 on Thursday, but I kept it quiet. Strange though, most of the time I really don't feel that old at all.
As with you others so far, most other Scorpio drivers around my way are 'older', and don't even notice another one it seems. And also they all seem to be 2.3's at best, no Cossies

36 yrs young and I saw 7 Scorpios today on a tour to the south coast and back!!Average age was about 55!!!!

And I have only seen a facelift model once in nearly 4 years of driving - 2 if you count my own. Apparantly, only a handful of them were ever sold in this country due to our horrible taxation system on new cars. According to my uncle who is salesman in a Ford dealer, my '98 facelift Ultima 2.3 auto would have cost the equivalent of nearly €50,000 when new. Nasty!!!

Funny thing, I've had mine about a couple of months and in 2,500 miles I can't recall seeing another. I used to look at them with envy before and seemed to see one a day at least.
Perhaps I am too busy tring to work out which d**ned gear the thing is going to find next or where the fuel is going to look out of the window.
I don't think all Scorpio drivers are old, they just seem that way because of all the problems.
Actually, if I can sort it out I I am sure I shall get to enjoy it.
How old?? er 59 last count .. I think.

Well i'm 40 and i have my third Scorpio, (In the Netherlands the Granada's are Scorpio too) First i had a 2.9 gl mk3 That was a good car but i missed something, after 3years i bought a Full option 2.9 Ghia mk3 wich i still have, but he have a major problem (He won't Start when it rains) so i bought a month ago an mk4 Ultima from 1995 with only 45000 miles on it, this is my dream and there aren't much of them here. Greetings to all you Scorpio lovers.
