Hi all, i've been registered for a few months but only to buy and sell parts for a mates Ultima. Well now I have one of my own! M reg 2.9 Ultima Estate with LPG. I'm an active member of the GSO site and still have a couple of Mk3's but hope to make good use of this one for my new toy. By the way, any meets in the SW / Wales area?

Have seen the pics from this years Weston meet. Looked good with a very respectable turnout. I'm near Port Talbot so anything just over the bridge would be ok. There is a monthly classic car meet that some of us GSO people try to get to in the W Midlands. Your car would be most welcome Richard, it's a stunner! The next one is this Sunday, 7th. Nice motor car Simon. Silly question maybe but how does it compare with the 4x4? Geoff

Thanks for the comments. She's got 130k on her but has just had a recon 'box and a new cat and exhaust. As for comparison, they're completely different animals realy. There is no doubt that the 4x4 handles much better than the Ultima and is easier to drive on a windy road but the Ultima knocks it for six for cruising and refinement. Only things i'd like to change are the headlamps (for the facelift look) and i'll be looking for some 16in wheels.
