Took my mk3 granny for her m.o.t, today...... and in the workshops, was a scorp, with her bonnet open, and engine in the process of being stripped down!!! So, me bein inquisitive (No, not nosy!!) I wandered in to have a peep!! Anyways, to cut a long story short, I asked the mechanic, what the story was, and he said " it had been boiled dry, and suspected cracked head" I wonder how much thats gonna cost!! Ouch!!

Hmm... I wonder what engine it was..? Anyway, I imagine the main difficulty will be getting hold of the parts from Ford (if they're going down the 'new' route)
