I have taken the Scorp off the road for a while as as I can't afford to road tax it just now. Well its not my daily car ( couldent afford the fuel if it was!) and what with holidays and other exspences coming up it seemed the right thing to do. I will be keeping an eye on things here but for now thanks for all your help over the last few months. This is a great site, cheers for now Mickey.

Hi Mickey, To save yourself some grief later on, Jack her up and put her on axle stands to take the weight off the tyres, leave the handbrake off, and go to a motorbike shop and buy an "Optimate" which is about £35 and connects to the battery full time, monitoring and charging when neccesary. I use these on all my toys, they are brilliant ! And dont do anything silly like selling it LOL Regards, Dave

| Good sound advice Dave. Luckerly for me its at my mates place now. He has a nice bit of land so I can start her up and drive her around every week or so until shes back on the road. That should be October hopefuly . Then it wont be long until MOT time, may need a bit of welding this year on the off side sill and may be the drivers foot pan..........bloody tin worm, how does it just sneek up on you like it does

| No, not got rid of me yet Dave! Dam car does drink some fuel though!!!!!!!! What do you think about changing the Lamdas? I did this on my Supra and the MPG went from 16 to 25 just for the changing of a £35 universal sensor. No one seems to talk much about Lambdas on here (correct me if I'm wrong)
