How comes you cant view old posts?

Having a mooch at old posts ( instead of working ), I just get an error when looking at the oldest stuff?

yes, the server crashed back in 2003 or 2004. we lost a fair bit, hence the reason steve moved all the site to the new host.

Both dates were correct we had two major server crashes and a major loss of data last time so we opted for a more reliable dedicated server with a backup on another one along with the very hiugh bandwidth use . ( 35/40Gb pcm) which is one of the reasons the cost of running the site and forum are relatively high.
